'Sense of Place, A Residency at Stirling Castle' 2 December 2011 -22 January 2012
Marking Historic Scotland's first ever artist's residency, Iona will be exhibiting her castle-inspired work at Stirling Castle in a major show of completely new work. Her studio in the Castle's Nether Bailey has enabled her to explore her own vivid response to the ancient nature of the Castle and to record both real and imagined views and events.
The range of work is huge, varying from small watercolours, prints and cards to major large scale 'Fleeting Imaginings ' works. It is certainly her most ambitious exhibition so far.
The exhibition will be open seven days a week 9.30am to 5pm and entry is included in castle admission. Closed Christmas Day.
